So after all his talk, David Haye did as he said and beat Valuev to become WBA heavyweight champion of the world.
Haye stuck and moved and even wobbled his 7'2 opponent in the last round all with a broken right hand to win a majority decision in Germany (yes I did say he won a decision in Germany!)
He fought with a style different to that of which we are used to and got the job done, so must be commended.
Now bring on John Ruiz!
